NGO's of CAPPADOCIA

Göreme Town Developing Tourism Cooperative (Gör-Koop) is an organization established in 1896 by 40 members. Today Gör-Koop has 186 members and their main aim is to develop the tourism activities in Göreme. Besides the promotional materials about the area and distributing these in the both national and international fairs; the organization brought in Göreme Culture and Tourism Complex which has a Turkish Bath, art gallery, cinema; shops for handicrafts as well as restaurants and cafes. In this article, we introduce the cooperative by having information from Mustafa Durmaz, the president of Gör-Koop.
